Valencia CF reinforces its commitment to inclusion and social awareness of autism
Children with autism took to the pitch accompanied by adults and their assistance dogs
Marcos André was the hero of Valencia CF's game against Athletic Club, scoring his first goal for the club with a last minute equaliser. After the final whistle, he spoke to VCF MEDIA.
The match
We had a very good game. In the end, we came away with the win, but Athletic always make it difficult for every team. In the end, if we don't win then at least we have to not lose. I think that, after two consecutive defeats, picking up points is important for our confidence. We wanted the three points, but it wasn't to be. We got a point, and we have to keep going.
Opening his scoring account
I wanted that feeling of scoring my first goal. I scored, and now we have to rest up and I hope that in the coming games I get many more goals.
Dedicating the goal
I dedicated it to my family and friends. They are always alongside me. Also, everybody who has supported me since I arrived here. I'm very happy for them as well.
The next game against Cádiz
It is another difficult game, but we are going to work hard during the week to get the three points.
